Del-Haven Ministries Statement Of Faith
We believe. . .
- The Bible is the Word and Revelation of God, infallible, and God-breathed (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
- In the triune God, expressed in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Mt. 28:19-20 / 2 Cor. 13:14 / 1 Jn. 2:23-24 / 1 Jn. 3:23-24 / 1 Jn. 5:7-8).
- In the personality of Lucifer, also known as Satan, the Devil, who is the adversary of God and mankind (Is. 14:12-15 / Job 1:6-7 / Jn. 8:44 / Lk. 8:11-12 / 1 Peter 5:8).
- In the virgin birth (full humanity) and absolute deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Mt. 1:18-21 / Lk. 1:26-35 / Jn. 1:1 / Jn. 1:14).
- In the total universality and depravity of the sin nature of mankind (Ecc. 7:20 / Is. 53:6 / Rom. 3:23 / Gal. 3:22).
- In the eternal punishment for unregenerate, unbelieving sinners (Prov. 16:4 / Jn. 3:36 / Rev. 20:14-15 / Rev. 21:8).
- In the death, burial, and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ, who provided the vicarious and unconditional atonement for the sins of elect mankind and the victory over Satan and death once for all (1 Peter 1:2-5 / 1 Cor. 15:1-4 / 1 Cor. 15:55-57 / Rom. 5:14-21 / Rom. 8:29-34 / Rom. 11:5-7 / Heb. 9:28 / Heb. 10:9-10 / Heb. 10:12-14).
- That regeneration, being born again unto eternal life, is by grace, believing in the atoning work of Jesus Christ, as precisely taught in the Word of God, and that this salvation is an act of God’s grace alone, worked out effectively for all those whom the Heavenly Father calls and draws to Christ for that purpose (Jn. 3:3-8 / Jn. 3:16-21 / Jn. 6:29 / Jn. 6:37-40 / Jn. 6:44-45 / Jn. 6:51 / Jn. 6:53 / Jn. 6:61-63 / Jn. 6:65 / Rom. 1:3-6 / Rom. 8:28-30 / Rom. 10:9-17 / Col. 2:12 / 1 Pet. 1:18-21 / 1 Pet. 1:23-25 / James 1:18).
- In the personal work of the Holy Spirit, convicting people of sin, making them new creatures in Christ, baptizing them into the body of Christ, the Church, and indwelling all believers who are born again (Jn. 16:7-11 / 1 Cor. 3:16 / 1 Cor. 12:13 / 2 Cor. 5:17 / Eph. 1:13-14 / 2 Th. 2:13 / 2 Tim. 1:7 / Titus 3:5-7).
- That Jesus Christ has ascended into Heaven, is at the right of the Father, is our intercessory High Priest, who will abide there until the appointed time for His glorious bodily return as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Acts 1:9-11 / Eph. 1:20 / Heb. 1:3 / Heb. 3:1 / Heb. 7:24-27 / 1 Thes. 4:13-17 / Lk. 9:26 / Mk. 13:26-27 / Rev. 17:14 / Rev. 19:16).
