Saturday Work Days

The summer of camp season 2014 is coming right upon us. Our first Saturday work day is only a couple of weeks away…if the weather permits. Please be in prayer for our main man Jeff Hall, who underwent hernia surgery just this same month. His recovery from this will definitely have to be taken in consideration. We do not want anything to go wrong. Jeff’s knowledge of what needs to get done is invaluable to us. Pray with us for his complete physical healing and total recovery.

As always — there are many tasks that need to get done before the first group of campers come on the premises. We will once again be designating each Saturday a preparation day for the camp season. If you — or, your group — can schedule a day to help us — Praise the Lord — we will greatly appreciate your assistance.

Prayer Requests – February

Prayer Requests

We do want you to be in prayer, however, for Sheri. When the ice storm was first happening and she was driving home from school where she teaches — she had to take to the ditch to avoid a collision with a school bus and rolled her car! It was a total loss. She seems to be physically alright — but is now having to seek out another vehicle. Please pray that the Lord will preserve her — and lead her as she undergoes this task.

As always dear ones, pray for our staff and all the children that He has sent to us to minister to. Satan — the roaring lion seeking whom he may devour — is ever at their heels in order to deceive and destroy them. If this letter does nothing else — but move you to pray for us — Praise the Lord our wonderful Savior!

Last month we gave to you our camp schedule — when you pray — lift up those camp sessions before the Lord — and seek from Him His grand blessing upon each one. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood — but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world — against spiritual wickedness in high places!” Eph.6:12

January Prayer Requests

As always, dear ones, please do not forget to pray for those that God will send us as staff in order to minister with us this year. This is an ongoing need that must be filled with just the right persons whom the Spirit of the Lord prepares! And, then there is all the children in whose lives the seed of the Word of God has been planted — and is being continually cultivated. The times we are living in are fraught with danger and sinful degradation. Commit these boys and girls unto the preservation and protective power of our Lord Jesus Christ for their safety and development in Him. They are precious in His sight — and in our hearts as well.

Send a Personal Christmas Message

This summer many children stepped foot on the campground and heard about the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. They attended Bible classes, sang Christian hymns and choruses, learned memory verses, and had personal conversations with the camp staff about the desolate condition of a sinner and their great need for the Savior. For many of these children it was the first time hearing the Good News of the Gospel, and for many of the children it was the first time they ever uttered a prayer, even if it was just to thank the Lord for our meal. It is our earnest prayer that this Christmas season will be more meaningful to them, and that they will remember the things they have learned about the Savior as we celebrate His birth. Many of you picked up prayer bookmarks at our banquet with the name of a child who attended camp. If you would like to write a Christmas message to the child you are praying for, we would like to put it in their Christmas letter this year. If you were not able to pick up a prayer bookmark but would still like to send a Christmas message to a camper to let them know that they are cared for and someone is praying for them, please feel free to still send a note or a card. We will in response send you the child’s name who received the Christmas message so you can pray specifically for them. Please do not include gifts or personal information in your message, such as phone numbers and addresses. Christmas letters to campers will be mailed out on Friday, December 20th. Please send a card or note to:

Prayer Requsets – November

We are well aware of the changing tide of circumstances in our country — and the ever continual oppression that they inflict upon all who will live for our Lord Jesus Christ. This is why — more than ever — we need each other’s prayers for support and divine guidance and God’s enabling grace — to continue on! Truly, we march in step with the Holy Spirit — in the safety of the holy sanctuary of our Lord Jesus Christ — when we prayerfully commit each of our allotted days in this world unto Him. And, as always — we continue to ask — that, as you do so — that you lift up both our staff members and all the boys and girls that the Lord sent to us this past summer. They are all the targets of the Evil One. Our earnest prayers — is the best thing that we can do for them!

We are so thankful to the Lord for all of you — and the loving support you continue to faithfully display towards us. It is. indeed, greatly appreciated. We love to hear from you. You are ever in our continual prayers. As hard as things may get — we must not forget — Jer.17:7 “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord — and whose hope the Lord is!”
